The Flock

The Flock is an interactive AR piece that presents a critical vision of our contemporary horizon.

For millennia, the universal sight of a flock of birds served as our most ancient and grounding network. Today, that enduring system is being rapidly overtaken.

The piece invites the viewer to experience this transition: three distinct figures, appearing as bird-like hybrids of global political and tech giants, descend to surround us. It is interactive and playful, yet it explores the heavy reality of a co-opted world.

As the viewer engages, the soundscape builds more immersive and unsettling – a texture of the strange and familiar, analog and digital. It asks: When the figures that define our world are no longer our safeguards, who truly controls the reality we see?
